Subject Matter: Cultural, Spiritual, Time/ Space, Shadow/Light In Collections: Holographic Universe DESCRIPTION: This painting is from the series that I called, The Holographic Universe, a series about the Human Experience. I use as a background a sculpture called, Defense by Henry Hering on the Dusable Bridge in Chicago. It visually depicts a soldier killing Indians to defend the poor white settlers. On a different level, I painted shadows in colors of a policeman attacking some protesters. Or if you want the police defending the poor white people from the black Lives Matter people. On a different layer, I used some Swarovski crystals in a paved pattern to describe the gluts of the news as well as the holographic qualities of our reality
