This painting is from my series that I call, The Holographic Universe, a series about the Human Experience. Edelweiss is an oil painting on a wood panel covered in resin with a special yellow-gold glitter that does not show at a certain distance and shimmers in different ways during the day. The glitter is dancing enhancing the colors and shadow of a kid playing with butterflies in front of a mermaid fountain. This is a piece about childhood imagination dancing on top of reality.
